Wellington High School is now in their 2nd year of redesign with the state. Last year we incorporated a new online platform (Summit Learning) that addresses personalized blended learning, mentoring, and project based learning. In addition to the platform this year we have moved to a flex-mod schedule that through Infinite Campus and student badges allows students to move throughout their day to choose where, when, and how long they visit a teacher. This offers flexibility and more of a student directed approach. In this session we will briefly cover how the online platform of Summit Learning addresses our school vision and cover how we operate the flex mod schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays using sheets in google and the scanning procedures.
