It can be an extremely vulnerable process to receive student feedback on their experiences in your classroom. From “I hate this class and nothing will change that!” to “I love this class, but…” it can be a rollercoaster of emotions simply to try to become a better teacher. How do we use technology to respect student input while maintaining our sanity? This session will provide tips for purposefully gathering feedback with specific data gathering tools, setting up emotional boundaries in the review process, and doing our best to be honestly reflective.
